Every person should have the right to express how they feel about certain problems that go on in the world. “I’m not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color… To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way.”(Kaepernick)
Individuals who bolster declining to stand or place their hand in a certain spot for the national anthem contend that them and other competitors are legitimized in utilizing their VIP status as famous persons to point out imperative issues and that declining to stand for the national anthem is a suitable and successful strategy for a challenge. Those people who differ contend that football games are an improper place to take part in political dissent and that not standing and doing the appropriate and respectful body language for the national anthem demonstrates what they truly believe about it and those persons do not care for the nation.
